THE NextGen CONNECTION Afterschool Hangout Every Friday 3:00-5:00 pm Every Friday after school, the youth of our community are invited to come hang out with your friends, enjoy snacks & refreshments, play video games on our Wii, board games, listen to music, watch movies, and make new friends! Group will meet at The Church on the Corner Commons (enter through the Pomona Ave. side of the building)

SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM For all ages, children and youth should attend the main worship service at 10:00 AM in the main sanctuary.  Following the music, the children and youth will be called forward during the service at 10:30 AM to be prayed for and then dismissed.  Kids will be escorted out by their respective teachers into their classrooms located in the Education wing.  Following the service, parents are welcome to pick up their elementary or younger aged child directly from the classroom.  Remaining children will be escorted to the patio area to their parents after 11:30 am.  For first time attendees, a registration form will need to be filled out. Infants & Toddlers - A nursery team is available on rotation at 10:30 am.  Parents are welcome to stay with their child if needed. PreK-5th Grades - Taught by Dorothy Cullen (upstairs classroom).  Children are taught the basic truths of the Bible in a multi-aged setting with an emphasis placed on Bible reading followed by discussion.  Fun activities and free play time are given at the end to encourage social interaction and the formation of friendships.  Middle School & High School - Taught by Tim Horton & Christine Koundakjian (upstairs classroom).  The curriculum for this class is designed to solidly ground each youth in the core truths of the Bible.  These truths will give them a world view and belief system that will guide them through all the seasons of their lives. Security & Safety We value the security and safety of your child.  As a basic assurance to our parents, we require that all of our youth, children and nursery teachers and volunteers undergo background checks and training.  For our nursery team, we also ensure CPR and First Aid certification. We invite all parents to actively participate in our Sunday School ministry.  Your feedback and support are critical to partnering with us to ensure a successful, secure and safe program for all.
